Water, food and a decent temperature range are needed for our survival. To maintain them requires cutting emissions of greenhouse gases. Drastic diminution is necessary. We do not act accordingly. We recognize the above statements. They are proven.

We do not think the world consequently. Our reluctance is natural. Profound change is required and unbelievable. Societies already have enacted profound change, time and again. We can learn from that.

"This is an old and primary tool of all oppressors to keep the oppressed occupied with the master’s concerns. […] This is a diversion of energies." (Lorde, 1979) We can "seek new ways of being in the world".

We can act consequently.
